anyone have the same situation?

my ball python which is about three years old only feeds when he is in his water bowl? thats when i know he is going to eat for sure. when he is out of his bowl he will not eat! just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them?

humidity levels off maybe? too big of an enclosure? maybe he feels safer in a tight space like a water bowl?
