After my leo lay the eggs in my contanier,i will put my lid on it butshould i have air holes in the lid or not?

when i incubated my eggs i didnt have any airholes and my babies hatched. But MAKE SURE to open up the lid for a few minutes about twice a week to keep some air flowing to prevent mold and also to smell and see if the eggs are rotting or not.
