It looks like the super form of the snake he was trying to sell for 10k. If I remember correctly, some folks called him foolish and stupid for trying to sell a "normal" for that much money. If that is the case, we know who gets the last laugh on this one.

My snakes aren't fat, they're big boned.

... I am pretty sure he did not have a female to pair with him Jody. Also, the price I remember on that snake was $20,000!!!!! Nice animal though!!!

The original snake looked like it had doughnut glaze on it with regular pattern and color underneath. I would be willing to bet that is what created the animal pictured. Steve is a great guy and I am glad that the project worked out so well. Now what to name it??? It almost looks like a white cinnamon or something with the reduced side pattern. I am a Hendrix fan and think he should call it Purple Haze.

Hey Jody,

I'm not sure what I might of offered you I had a number of crazy looking things in my collection and you got me thinking what oddball I might of offered you but it wasn't a Malted sib.

Thanks,
Steve

I will say this it’s not a Super Malted and IMO the Malted is far from anything normal and I'm actually glad I didn’t sell him. I never offered any babies from the Malted because this is the first year I hatched something from him. I've lost several clutches from an incubator malfunction last year and this year I was on an unexpected 65 day un-warranted vacation and my girlfriend set up various clutches including a few Malted clutches that spoiled due to being kept to moist but I am optimistic 2009 will be the year of hatching some babies he sired.

Whatever it is, it's beautiful. If it's one of the balls that you tried selling and decided to prove out, good decision : )

I think I'm more impressed with this one than any others that have been introduced this season. I have no idea how you made it, so I'm not gonna try to guess. Would be great to know though, because it's very impressive. I'm a pushover for black backs, and that thing is just spectacular. Congratulations man.

Congrats, amazing looking serpent, make sure you follow the ''tendance'' ŕ la McNerdy and not reveal the ingredients, you wouldn't want everyone to be mass producing them next year and cutting into your profit...

Did you know people are still trying to figure out how they put the caramel in the caramilk and as far as Colonel Sanders is concerned, he brought his secret ingredient recipe with him 6 feet under...

Will remain secret.

Thanks

ok fine, it remains a secret, that's up to you... I however have a few questions for you then.. was this a surprise or a project that you were working on? Are any of the ingredients something new or well known mutations?

Nice hatch, it's amazing.. Please post more pictures once it sheds!!

Regards,
Bristen.
