Redtail Digging

sooperscoot Sep 15, 2008 08:40 PM

Hi, I have a columbian redtail boa that every once in a long while digs under his mulch. He doesnt do it often and it never last more than a few days but why does he do it. Could it be too hot? Not hot enough? Humidity? Now Im not too worried, Ive had him for years and hes very healthy, Im just curious.

Nothing to be concerned about.

They all love to burrow at times for security or for ambushing prey.

Completely natural.......John J
