Hey guys/gals I have a hypo nic that eats a small rat every 19-20 days. He use to eat every 7 days but for the last 4 months he has been very finicky. He looks completely normal just became long and slender. He is about a year and a half. should i worry about his appetite?

If the snake still looks healthy to you it should be ok. Also, if it is a male, it my slow down on feeding as it starts to get cooler outside. Good Luck

I find that, that happens with quite a few of my males. For some it's a seasonal thing, for others it appears random.

So you do not think it is a bacteria infection or parasites?

If you're worried, it never hurts to take a trip to the vet to rule out parasites or other possible causes. But most likely it's just going through a seasonal feeding change.
