I bought a pregnant tangarine leopard gecko from a local reptile store. She is very skidish im guessing because this is a new place to her. will this delay her egg laying? If so how long does it take for them to become eggbound(i think thats what you call it when she deosnt lay her eggs). I put a lay box in with vermaculite. I also went out and bought a hova-bator. Im very excited I cant wait until she lays! Please right back.

She is skittish beacuse:

1. Its a brand new place for her
and 2. your not supposed to handle them or try to touch them for at least a week at the least after you get them...

sorry i cant answer your other question but just leave her alone for a while and shell do fine....
