I thought I'd stop lurking and ...

introduce myself. I've been lurking on this forum quite often(every day) for the past year or so. I've just never introduced myself because I only have 1 brb and the rest of my collection consists of about 90% ball pythons. Here's a little background on me:
My name is Josh and I'm 16 years old and live in Santa Rosa, Ca. If any of you know Jess Losee (Dave does) I'm very good friends with her, that's where I got my male brb from. I've kept snakes since I was 8, so about 8 years or so now. I'm a junior in high school and attend Rincon Valley Christian School(best school ever btw). I love to run X-country and play golf. I plan on either going to the Air Force Academy and becoming a pilot or attending UC Davis or UC Berkeley and getting my degree in herpetology and then specializing in reptile medicine.
This is what my collection consists of right now:
0.1 gtp
0.2 50% poss het pied bp
0.3 pastel bp
0.6 normal bp
1.0 normal bp
1.1 het albino bp
1.0 spider bp
1.0 black pastel bp
2.0 pastel bp
1.0 brb
1.0 cornsnakes
0.1 western hognose
1.1 crested geckos.

Josh,
...Very nice collection of reptiles. Keep posting. We even like BP PICs on this forum.

Welcome, everyone on the forums has been super nice to me since I joined about a year ago or so... post away, we haven't the slightest care if what you have to say is on or off topic! I would love to get a ball python someday and I'd love to see more pics of them and learn more about them!

I love this forum because it's not as dramatic as other forums and anything on or off topic is welcome. I'll get some pics up of the brb and some of the bps asap.
By the way aanata1, ask any and all questions about the ball pythons. I've had them for about 5 years now so if you have any questions, just shoot me a message.
Josh

Josh,

Welcome to the forum. I only currently have 1.1 brb and this is the only forum I "hang" with. I do post to many forums but this is the best all around forum on kingsnake IMHO.

I have 14 Ball Pythons at this time. 5 babies from a het to het pied breeding. So I have 9 adults. I RARELY if ever post to the BP forum. I got MANY more responses here from my breeding of ball pythons then the BP forum. I actually like the people on this forum.

Plus we joke around here as well. Making it also a funny place to read posts.

Hi Frank,
I saw you on the bp forum. That was one sweet pied you got. I've got at least another 3 years to wait until my 50% poss. het pied females are ready to breed, and even then it's still not a guarantee to produce some. I sure hope I have good luck though. Could you post some pics of you pied? I'd love to see them. Thanks.

FRoberts Sep 18, 2008 01:19 PM

I will take some new pics soon and post them for ya.

Good luck with your future breedings, I have to admit the normal looking balls are very cute when they hatch, but yeah I love that pied as well!

Welcome Josh! I'm glad you decided to introduce yourself. This is the best forum on KS (IMO), and I hope you stick around. Please post pics of your BRB when you get a chance... or even some of your BPs.
