Oct. Herping in Malaysia: Where to go?

I'm currently in southeast asia heading to Malaysia. I plan to arrive in October, my last stop before heading to Europe. I haven't had many herp encounters, but one highlight near Chiang Mai, Thailand I came across a 2 meter long retic one night after a light rain. She had a beautiful yellow head. I got a couple pics, and now I'm thirsty for more! I'm a snake and croc guy, where is a good place for snakes in Peninsular Malaysia (if Borneo is significantly better I'll consider it as well, as of now I'm thinking of Peninsular Malaysia and maybe southern Thailand.)

Thanks a bunch and I'll try to post pics of whatever I find.
