This is where I meant to post. Whoops!

So, i'm thinking of finally breeding my girls.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on the season? I figure I need to put them together like, NOW.

Depending on the temps where you live, they could start mating as early as February. Then, depending on the age of the female leos, they'll put out 2 eggs once or twice a month for the rest of the season.

There are charts which show the age vs how many lays in a season. It goes up, then declines after the 4th year or so.

Put your 1.2 leos in one cage, add a lay box (a vermiculite moist hide) and they'll work out the specifics on their own.

I know some breeders who start putting there colonies together around the end of November. Personally, I don't put them together until after the holidays. Speaking for myself, the holidays can get a little hectic on a personal leval & reptile breeding is just one less thing I have to think about. I'll even put colonies together as late as April. But any time during the late winter early spring will work just fine.
