What should I do about this baby?

coheed196 Sep 18, 2008 07:28 AM

Well I've been breeding for about 3 years now but I've never had this happen. I opened up the incubator and saw the little baby, and when i picked him up to put him in the rack he has some vermiculite in his ear. Its not a big clump or anything just a small bit. I tilted him sideways hoping it would fall out, but it didnt. I dont want to stick anything in there to try and get it out so if you have any ideas let me know. I'm sure this has happened before but never to me.

Let it dry out (so the vermiculite shrinks) and then gently touch a piece of tape to it.
