...I agree with what the others said about the striped cream. That rootbeer motley has a nice faded "look" to it that I like.
Nice stuff!
Tim
I like the cream stripe, great orange, is cream short for creamsicle or is that something totally different?

I'm bummed
I have a new monitor and I can't get the color right for nothing.
I had your typical every day 17 inch monitor and my wife got me a nice 19 inch flat screen (wide) so I gave the 17 inch to my mom who was using a 15 inch.
I have no idea if these pictures look right. I'm just going on the assumption that my camera is still taking good shots and these look good on a decent monitor.
Well, now I wish I had the old monitor back but I don't want to hurt my wife's feelings.

Hey Jimmy,
the pictures look great. Have you tried resetting the color to factory defaults? That works quite often. I am sure your wife would understand that the colors are off. Maybe exchange the monitor.
take care!

Jimmy,...I bought a new 19" LG flat-screen monitor a while back, and as I recall, there were some settings I had to do from the manual for things to be right. If you haven't already thoroughly read the instruction manual yet, I would definitely do so. It could be something extremely simple.

I have tried everything. Auto adjust, manual adjust, factory settings, recalibration, rain dance, sweat lodge....EVERYTHING
It's close but just not the true colors my old monitor had...BUT
I talked to Patti and asked if she would be upset if I traded the new 19 inch to my Mom so I could get my old 17 inch back and she was cool, of course. She asked which one worked best for my photography and I told her the 17 so she said "get it back...dumb ass"...LOL
she doesn't cut me any slack...lol
It will work out better anyway. My mom has macular degeneration and needed a bigger monitor. The 17 was much better then her 15. The 19 inch will be even better then the 17.
So, I will head up to her house one evening this week and get the old one back.
You know why Patti doesn't care?
Her 22" flat screen looks perfect. of course.%#&^$%....LOL
