Blocking Lip of Vision Cages.

cobrafan Sep 19, 2008 10:18 AM

For those of you that "block" the lip of your Visions w/ either foam rubber or PVC what is the easiest/best way to do this. Thanks for any advice.

If you use pipe insulation the snake will just push it out of the way, Greatstuff spray foam works the best IMO.

I cut to length 3/4" PVC pipe and wedge it in.
Works great, and they can't push it out..

I second the 3/4 pvc,It can be removed for cleaning.

Maybe my snakes are just more persistant, but I got tired of having heavy bodied snakes thuding to the ground every couple days. The triple expanding greatstuff just takes one even bead and fills the whole gap and is still easy to clean. Try the foam and if it doesn't work go with greatstuff.

Can the snakes not then crawl inside the PVC pipe?!?
