just a scale detail of my boa. i was thinking you guys could help me figure out if this would be enough red to be considered coral...
what do you think? i'm thinking not enough red...?

hmm, now that i think about it, i don't think the problem is that there's not enough red, i think it's that there is too much black! lol

rose is really coming along. i wanted to get some natural light pics, but alas, i've worked my butt off this week and the only free time i've had was at night

all of my animals were nice and light tonight. usually, this guy is showing more purple. i'm hoping to get his side badges into her color and have a nice mixture of pinks and purples from her and him in the future. their patterns are strikingly similar!
he gets a little speckly towards the tail...

Am I lossing my mind or did you just post a rant on Morphs a few days ago LOL. I thought you were a purest breeder? Just asking and not looking to slam, I was sure that it was you last week but I could be wrong, I am getting fieble nowadays.
As far as the Coral thing? I don't know what the full genetics are to know for sure, but it looks as if you have an Albino with some nice coloring.

that wasn't an albino, it was my guyana bcc. just a portion near where her tail begins has no black pigment and it looks like an albinos color when you cut the rest of the pic off. see the next pic in the sequence to see the original!
