question...

I have a boa that doesn't like to eat anymore. He likes to bask in his water bowl also from time to time. He does not have mites, and he is not in shed when he does so. The temps are good, and the humidity is adequate.

What could this be a sign of, or is this just normal from time to time with boas.

He is 3.5 years old, and looks in great health physically. I've inspected him thoroughly and orally also.

Just can't figure it out.

My guess is that he either needs a hide spot, or a female. Those are both reasons that would cause him to go off of feed , if your certain that he doesn't have mites.

"doesn't like eating anymore"- how long has this been going?
Don't know how people tried to answer without this piece of info really.
