Nice to see what my breeding looks like

orchidspider Sep 19, 2008 09:39 PM

A friend who bought one of my bullsnakes from my first breeding clutch last year brought her female back to me today to look at, and I had no idea how much color these guys would get. If this is any indication of what is to come, I cant wait to see what this year's second batch (the female double clutches) is going to look like after a few years. These pics do not do justice to the amount of orange present in this snake. The 1st pic is of the Mother- a Kansas yellow bull, the 2nd pic is of the father, and he was in shed, he is what I believe is a Texas reddish bull. The last 3 pics are of the yearling and the I am definitely going to hold back a few babies after they hatch this time!
