which does everyone like better and why?

call me one of a kind but I like Arabesques better, never really have been a fan of the motleys other than they're a true co-dom other then the arabesque which has no super form so it's genetics are limited

personaly I like both and have projects for both. I beleive that the arabesque can seem underated as i have two adult females that are nothing short of breathtaking. I think that for people who want a beuatiful stricking adult boa, arabesques really fullfill that desire. my hypo motly male is a sub adult and awsome, I have seen some awsome adult mots from Linda H as well. So i guess what i am saying is that obviously both have reasons to love, but so far for me my arabesque boas are some of my most prized and favorite boas of my collection, even as full grown adults.

Motley for sure the looks are like no other, the arab looks like a nice common boa with connecting saddles. Im not a big fan of the arab. Just my opinion.

I have to agree...people could look through you collection and by people I mean just people that find snakes fascinating and don't know the various morphs and see an arabesque and they would probably think its what alot of people describe as a circle back latter tail while as a motley has the fuzzy saddles and overal different look and color to them compared to an arabesque which has similar colors as a normal. Don't get me wrong I have seen some nice looking Arabesques but Motleys...how can you beat that?!

Clearly the Arabesque is the poor mans Motley! Best part is they're damn near the same price?!?!

All kidding aside it's personal preference, but the best Arabesque I've ever seen has never come close to even run of the mill Motleys, at any age. That's not even counting in the super... super? hrmmm...

First of all I do believe there is a super arab. There have been pics posted here of albino and non albino super arabs. They are patternless with racing stripes down each side of their back. The albino versions are out of this world. I might also add that I have both mots and arabs in my collection and each has their oown special attributes depending on what you like. I like them both equally. I have a hypo arab pos het alb that is STRIKING and I also have a genetic stripe hypo mot het alb from Big Mike that is out of this world. It all comes down to what you like. The cool thing is that there is sooooo much that we have yet to do with both these morphs. I wanna see the mot leo's. Or what about a mot or arab paradigm?!?!?!? Those will be off the hook.

I'm gonna have to disagree on that one! It' kinda like saying a Porsche is a poor man's Mercedes, to me...

They both have their appeal. I personally like the arabs better because they can have much more variety and intricancy to their pattern. I always thought mots were fairly drab looking, mostly a dull brown, and one pretty much looked like the next. Of course as selective breeding has refined the look, I have seen some visually stunning mots of late.

So, I am happy to accept that they are both wonderful morphs and am excited to see what's coming next with both of them. Its good we don't all like the same thing! It would greatly reduce the excitement and variety of what is coming next if everyone was working on the same projects!

Arabesque, for me is the NR 1 Boa Morph.

And i know that the combo,s with Arabs will make some *crasy* looking Boas in the future for years to come!!!!!

nice arab collection. I would have a tough time deciding between a real nice motley and a hypo arab if i could pick one

I like theme both, but arabesque is also my #1.
And those animals from Toine (pureboas.com), are the best here in Europe.

I will have to say hands down the Motley is a nicer animal. The first motley I seen was from Bill Kirby and it was tiny and an amazing animal. Loved them ever since. I wouldnt mind seeing a sunglow arabeque motley.

Has anyone seen how many deffernt shades of pink and Oranges are in these Animals. I like them both,but would take a albino Arab over a Albino Motley anyday.. Deffernt strokes for deffernt folks.JMO

Are there dominant babys and do they look different ?

Hi SIEGI, the pics I just posted (with the exception of the first photo) are all the result of Arab x Arab breedings. The ratio of Arabesque in each litter ranged from a low of 60%Arabesque/40% normals to a high of 95% Arabesque/5% normals. I have not bred any of the Arab x Arabs to totally unrelated normals yet, so I do not know if they will prove out to be dominant. Thanks to all you Arabesque fans out there. It is very gratifying to see them being bred all over the world now.

all that could sway me to like motleys, but then that would be kinda boring also. Arabesque gets my vote. Color plus pattern plus speckles.

I was happy with this little arabesque last year, look like a normal?
