I’m back in Germany and - after 3 weeks of hard cages cleaning and snakes feeding – I found a little time to make some pics of my new immigrants from the US

Best wishes - and a big thank you to all of you who made my 2008 visit in the USA so nice and successful.

Bernd it was great meeting you this year and I hope you can make it back to Daytona next year.
It's good to know pits are becoming more popular in Europe and other areas in the world and not just in the US. I was amazed to see how many pits the Japanese were buying this year in Daytona.
I hope to make it to the show in Hamm one day. You take some great pictures by the way.

Hi Randy

Was nice to meet you too! Hope to be back one day. But my flights are not cheap too. So Daytona is a great community thing! - but there is not really a financial benefit for me.

I hope to see you one day in Germany You have my telephone number...

For my pictures I need good weather and myself a calm mood - and a kind snake
The Vertebralis was not a nice tame actor in the sun...

Excellent!

You really did take back some real gems. I thought it was supposed to go the other way around...... Germans breaking the new hard to get stuff on the US front!...LOL!

congrats on your new snakes and some very nice images. You have to be the only guy on your block with pumilus, lineaticollis and Stillwaters!

Hopefully you will be taking back some gibsoni in the next year or two after trading off some of those cedros and san martin island lines you guys have squirreled away over there. Those are the two groups that still elude us and I can find no one in the world working with legally obtained founders............I will keep looking!

thanks for the images, and I am glad that someone is benefiting from a weak dollar!

Hi John

Thank you for your nice comments!

Yes, in Germany we are at this time only 2 with such a great and widespread Pituophis collection, Dieter Hirschkorn and me.
There are some friends near to us - but it is not a competition. If one want, go to the reptile fair with a bunch of Euros, buy many of the Pituophis offspring - and one is the keeper of the greatest amounts of Pituophis.
But you must serve them - and one have to love those snakes...

Gibsoni, Fuliginatus, Insulanus and surely Coronalis are lacking at this time in my/our collections - but I hope for the next years

Hi Tom!

Yes, this weekend in Daytona and expecially this evening with all those Pituophis friends left a great expression in my mind and I will remember it long!
