Hi
I'm new too beardies but not herps. This is my new BD. Just know you all like pics so I'm giving uploads a shot too.

Any ideas if there is any morph to this fella? I don't know what mom and dad look like so I'm just curious which direction he might go. He's 3.5 inches head to butt so i know its a little early to tell gender and color.

Look forward to hearing from you all and interacting with everyone in this community.

beautiful dragon! it appears to be a normal phase but just because its a normal doesnt mean it wont look very pretty with more and more sheds...some normals tend to be bright and others are a little more dark...either way congrats on the new addition

If any reptile could be labeled as the puppy dog of herps, the bearded dragon is definitely it. Each one has its own personality as individuals. They may be somewhat skittish at first but quickly lose that behavior. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN A GROWING DRAGON'S LIFE IS CALCIUM & VITAMINS AND UV. Make sure the insects you feed are properly gut loaded and dusted(to the point of making the cricket white) with Rep-Cal & vitamin and calcium supplement. Personally I use Miner-All indoor formula. It's already mixed together and easy to dust insects or greens.

Hope this helps and enjoy your dragon,
One of my females is on my shoulder now....LOL

You'll have to wait and see. The great thing about BD's is they all start off looking plain. Then when you least expect it they color up.
