I am planning on putting pairs together this weekend.
I have a pair going at it as we speak -- since this pair didn't go this year (07/08 breeding season) I'm not sure if it's late or early -- but the female had been laying cool and refusing meals so I thought I'd give it a shot. They locked up immediately and have been locked for going on 26 hours.

When I saw the low from Ike come this way I put three pairs together, one lock up. I'm new to breeding and not sure I'm doing everything right, but usually when I see a low front coming I put them together. I've read that a falling barometer promote breeding in balls.
I would be happy to read any body's opinion on that.
i am asking because i have a female thats refusing to eat and laying on the cool side as well, sure enough i saw the two locked up when i cam home from work tonight, im not sure how long they have been locked up for, as soon as i walked away from the room to get the camera cam back and they had seperated so im not too sure if they were GETTING ready or they already did, im keeping my fingers crossed and i will take the male out on the third day regardless and im going to reintroduce him. YES!!!
