I have 3 breeder size female pastels, one really pretty one, one nice one and an older female ( about 6 years) who is very browned out.I have 3 males on hand ( spider, albino, cinnamon) and a pinstripe if needed.Would a cinny be a better choice to breed with a darker female, as opposed to the spider, or should I try the albino and hope for some pretty het babies?
My plan is to put the spider with the lightest, the cinny with the darkest, and maybe put EVERYONE with the other female to hopefully get one of those clutches that just seems to have everything in it. I wasn't planning on putting the pastel with any of them, I have not seen a good pic of a pastel albino to judge from. Has anyone had any experience with this? I have seen pics of the supers the dark female has produced, and they were knockouts, so her genes are strong, she is just an old hag now.
Would a nice young male help clean up the bloodline, or should I just work with what I have.
sorry about rambling, its 3 am here and I am waiting on laundry to finish so I can crash
