Albinism in alterna

python11 Sep 23, 2008 09:50 AM

Okay, so I have seen examples of hypo and anery alterna - have there been any examples of albino alterna (not some sort of hybrid or outcross) but an honest-to-goodness alterna?

I seem to recall some being passed off as such a while back, but in fact they were high percentage alterna, but actually crossed with another species?

Just wondering,

There are no known pure Albino Alterna to this date. Any "albino" alterna available are crosses of some sort. Most of them were crossed with albino Ruthveni a while back. At least, this is what I know...

No true albino alterna as of yet. Just like I would doubt many of the "albino" milksnakes that are out there as well...

but that is just my .02

I agree with Max..

I think we have all seen the lucy alterna, but I have not heard about or seen a true albino alterna yet..
