my yearling female GTP lost an eyecap on a strip of adhesive.... the eye does not look in anyway infected, but is very gray and cloudy and much smaller than here good eye. In the long term will she be okay? And does anyone have any advise as to how to treat this injury.

In the long term, yes, it will be okay as long as it's treated properly. Take it to your herp vet to be sure this is done. In it's current condition, the eye might have to be amputated.
