There are no guaranties in life...that said, if you breed a pastel with a normal, 50% of the offspring should be pastel and 50% normal. But you might as well get all normals or all pastels or any other combination. The 50-50 is only a probability.

Let just say you have good odds of getting at least one 50/50; however one must remember with genetics that everything is probability. Just like flipping a coin you have 50/50 shots. However you could flip you coin four times and get all heads or all tails. It isn't very likely but it can happen.

The other thing to remember is that each result doesn't depend on the result of the other. For example just because one egg is a normal doesn't mean the next has to be pastel.

Some people breed their morphs to a normal and get all normal the next year they may get 75%-25% morphs to normal, some time people get really excited because they get all morphs in a 50-50% prob. Then again some people get a good clutch of eggs all that hatch are normals and the one that almost made it full term is their one Morph, that sucks.

It is all odds sometimes things go in your favor some times they don't.

But to end on a happy note, at 50-50 you have good odds, just have to see how they play.

I've gotten a clutch with no pastels, and a clutch with only pastels. So it was 50/50 for me in the end, good luck on yours!
