I have kept Indigos a couple of times. But I got one now that's out of control. Of my pair the female shakes her tail when I can catch her out of her box and flares the neck kinda cobra style. Sideways out ya know? And gapes her mouth. She hates people! On the other hand my male is all you hope for in an Indigo. Takes meat from my fingers kinda tame. Comes to my arms when I open the cage kinda tame ya know? They even share some parantage. Well, I know there's no changing this. They are less than two years old and flawless blacks so I will keep her for breeding. ///My question is this. How much control has anyone seen on the breeding for tameness or can bad natured snakes beget bad natured snakes? I realize this is a complicated question.
