Way over 60 Days. How much longer?

TJ. Sep 24, 2008 11:23 PM

Python laid eggs on June 10. Decided to go with maternal incubation and they all went bad except for one. I put it in with a clutch of Honduran eggs at room temperature for most of the summer. (72-85 degrees) Is it a gonner? Its still pliable and doesn't stink (yet). Just wondering: What is the record length of time for a Ball Python egg to hatch at cooler temps? And when should I open it (outside) and find an 'unpleasant truth' ??? Thanks. TJ.

Considering ball python eggs should be incubated at 85-88 degrees...I'd say it's a goner.
Have you candled it?

Seems too low a temp and over 90 days, I'd say it may not hatch. Have you tried candling it to see how it looks. Who knows, maybe it is alive and just might hatch.
