If anyone has any input, please let me know.
I breed quite a few bulls, and a variety of other animals.
This year, I bred two otherwise normal looking whitesided albinos (snow) bulls together and approximately one third of the babies had REALLY weird pattern variations. The weird pattern always started towards the head, and ended about 1/2 to 2/3 of the body down. It almost looks like it has double pattern. I havent sold any yet, but dont think too much off it, becuase, to me, its nothing too crazy (snows have very light pattern anyways). Still, I am for sure holding on to one with almost all of its pattern messed up to breed to something else....
I know in other animals, incubation can sometimes result in a weird pattern that is not carried by a gene. I do not know if this is the case or not.... I am wondering if anyone has any information that can possibly help me out.
by the way, sorry, my camera is in the shop, so i cant post pics yet....
Thanks,
~Dustin
