Just checked on my snakes before bed (3am) and our brazillian girl is definately giving birth to something tonight, eggs or slugs i'm not sure. So now I can't sleep until afterwards, because, well... I want to know! :P

What happened? I have had them look like they are starting labor and then not lay babies until several days later. They do this stuff just to keep us worrying.

the mass of her body was right next to her tail when I checked, so I thought... now is the time! But no.., when I checked an hour later she looked normal. She did pass what I believe was her waxxy stool, though.

That's a good sign. Although I did have one pass a waxy stool then nothing, then a week later another waxy stool babies a few days after that.
