I DISCOVERED YESTERDAY

herpsltd Sep 25, 2008 07:13 AM

that John O'Shields, a friend for over 35 years has had a severe stroke and is in a nursing home. He was one of the first to successfully breed Papuan Olive Pythons and in fact up until his stroke was still breeding them. I'm planning a visit on Sat. and my thoughts and prayers are with him......TC

I just heard that today and was very sorry to hear it! I do not know John well but have spoken to him recently and wish him the very best. Let him know the snake community is thinking of him and we hope he makes a fast recovery!

I didn't know him at all, but he was friends with the guy that also bred Papuans this year that I had posted pics of. Life can be a [bleep] at times
