turning orange

tj_sa1816 Sep 26, 2008 08:22 PM

My 4 month old normal beardie is starting to turn orange from the head back with every shed. Is this normal because its really cool. He is in shed right now I will post pictures when he is done. Also what is normal size at 4 months he is right at 14".

many dragons start off looking rather 'normal' looking and gain color after each shed. Some are the opposite as well.

The size of your dragon sounds healthy and good for a 4 month old dragon. Hard to say as there are many variables affecting a dragons' growth. If active, eating and pooping and shedding frequently and continually gaining weight and size, sounds like he is doing very well.
