100% Cypress Mulch

grunt_11b Sep 27, 2008 03:46 PM

I'm wondering where people get their cypress mulch from.. I've looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and other feed type store. I've only been able to find blended cypress. I've finally gotten an e-mail from a guy in Pageland SC that makes the stuff. But I'll have to buy like 100 yards of the stuff or a pallet full.. I was just wondering if anyone knew where to find it by the bag?? I'm probably going to just get a pallet of it. Well any help will be appreciated..

Alan

go back to lowes and look some more.
It is hard to find at my store-- they have the orange bags, the white bags and the green bags...
the green bags are teh blended stuff but next to the green is a lighter green bag-- its 100% cypress--- says on the bag in small letters--- I went several times looking and never saw it-- it was right there the whole time.

You can try at a nursery or plant store-- just call them before you drive all over town.

Good luck

I use keepers choice made just for the reptile biz. its more money but its clean, uniform in size and autoclaved . so these facts offset the price factor in my opinion anyway.
