What do you think this is?

hkwagner5 Sep 27, 2008 06:23 PM

Hey I just produced this awesome boy out of my last clutch. I got 8 Lessers and this one looks way different. Let me know if you guys think that this might have Platty in it.

Thanks
Brock Wagner

very cool! i would like to see what it looks like after it sheds. i have had hatchlings pop out super light that seemed to color up in a few days to be more typical looking. who knows time will tell. Did you cut the eggs open or do you let them hatch out on there own?

Lesser Calico?

hkwagner5 Sep 27, 2008 09:50 PM

I cut them to see inside I normally do that. It was from a Lesser to normal breeding so I thought that it was pretty cool. I have hatched out a lot of Lessers and never saw one like this little guy. Hopefully he stays light like this!

He looks Aewsome Brock, I'd say he has a platy gene in Him,have You talked with Ralph. He sure is lighter then the rest of the lessers ,like a platty.

I like it LOTS Brock!!! Seems like it would be lighter if carrying the Platty gene. I agree that Ralph would be the one to ask since he also has made a couple Calico Lessers as well -- as I remember. Let us know what you find out. Congrats -- sweet animal regardless.

Brock,

Im not sure its a Platty but I definitely think its something different. Hold on to it for some future breedings. Even if he doesnt prove to be different, he has gotta be the nicest Lesser ever.

Congrats

Brock,

That is one pretty snake. I don't know if there's something else involved but that would definitely be a keeper over here.
Nice work.
