need some help on my boxie...?

ok well first off i need to know wether my turtle is male or female...and how long he/she should be outside until winter....i cant leave her outside cuz it gets really cold and snows so...its starting to get a little bit chillier now that the summer is over...well my turtle is a three toed boxie...he/she has an olive colored shell and a kinda short tail with like a lump thing at the endor watever, kinda got a redish-brownish eye color...about 4-5 in. we got him/her a year ago wen she was like 4in. she/he has some orange and red on the chin and really dark-light brown on the top of its head...i would also like to know how old he/she is...i will be getting a digital camera soon if that would help but still right now any help would be great!...o yea and well i though it was a girl but now in the front a little bit on the bottom of its shell theres like a dent going in just a little bit...it used to be flat...

Its not really possible to accurately judge the age of a box turtle, unless you've had it since it was a hatchling...
There are some good pointers on determining sex in previous reponses posted when you last asked the question, so I don't know how much more help anyone can offer unless you're able to post photographs.
If its a younger, smaller turtle, you may have to wait until it gets older and larger before you'll know for sure whether its male or female.
