feeding question......

trevorbennett May 23, 2003 10:50 PM

my leos have never had pinkies, how do i feed my leos pinkies? are they best to hand feed dead ones or to buy live babies? is there any problems with feeding these occasionally to your leos? is it a good idea or not? (my leos are 2 years old) could you feed a 5 inch leo a pinky?

pinkies are good when feed only as an occasional treat. dead or alive is ok, but i think alive is more tempting to the leos. a 5 inch leo is too small, but the 2 year olds should be fine.

i dont know because i always feed live. the movement is very attractive to them.

dangle it in front of the leo
or drag it around on the floor, making it move with mouse like movements. another way is to annoy the animal till it bites it

just a thought
