You need to get some books on this subject. Even if you get sone advise here, it won't be enough to get you through breeding ball pythons (or any animal). I am new too, but I purchased 4 books as well as read python care sheets, comments and suggestions on MANY breeder's websites. Judging from the post you have above here, I'd look into caring properly for snakes in general first. It is recommended that ball pythons are kept seperate, at the very least when you feed them, but preferably all the time. You certainly shouldn't have more than one species in the same tank, or snakes of different sizes, regardless of the tank size. There are some great books to get started out there that are written by DVMs as well as well-known breeders. Websites like TSK and Ralph Davis also post care sheets.
Good luck.

i always seperate my snakes when i feed them. the species do fine together. all the fact sheets that i have read say is too put them in a cage together, make sure the temp and humidity is right and wait. i want more info.

Really? I've yet to see a care sheet that says you should house ball pythons together. I mean, they don't even house them together at PETSMART!

HAHA maybe not but PETCO does! Perhaps that's where she got her info.

LOL god DAMN pet stores, you gotta HATE THEM!
inferior animals, for much more $$, and then they tell you what you wanna hear, to buy their [bleep]!

I remember my first dragon, 10 years ago, I think now, what the heck, I took such shaddy care of that animal!
Because I was misinformed, and took the advice from petstores, as reliable.
Silly child, petstores are for the inexperienced Now I walk past a petstore, I enter and ask about dragon or ball python care, just to laugh at what they have to say.
Cheers

""i always seperate my snakes when i feed them. the species do fine together.""

When I feed my breeder males(,especially the smaller ones),they get an extra day away from any female i may be breeding him to.
Females are usually ready to hammer some food before just they start building to make eggs..So if she were to smell rodent on him..well,it could get nasty.

""all the fact sheets that i have read say is too put them in a cage together, make sure the temp and humidity is right and wait. i want more info.""

Those are BREEDING instructions, not basic husbandry.
You don't do that year round...Temp and humidity alterations are ways to induce breeding activity!
