2nd sideblotch is OUTSTANDING. It looks like your horned lizards are slightly reddish, is that accurate?

Wow, the pattern on that hognose is cool. Is that the norm for that area?

i have no idea if its normal or not, i will describe where it was found....if you look at Eunice New Mexico on the map, go strait south of there to the border of texas and new mexico, and then go 5 miles in on the map in a south east direction...into the middle of a bunch of sandy oil leases...those are some of mine, and thats where she was found. the first one i have ever found in that area, didnt know they where there, but hey there my leases so i guess i have all the time in the world to go look for em!

Awesome macro shots!

I'm jealous that you get to be working outside this time of year and bump into all these creatures while at work!

there thick as flies down here, theres tons and tons of them, its not uncommon to see 4-5 of them on the same rock it has been one heck of a year for them out this way, all the good rain and tons and tons of insects (and flies...for some reason there have been many times the normal ammount this year) i imagion with a cast net you can catch a dozen at a time in the right area....make great Alterna chow...
