>>Hey there,
>>
>>I don't know how much help I would be but I started my ball python obsession this past year with just a normal male ball python. I've successfully hatched two clutches on my first try so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to get going. I suggest reading, reading, reading and more reading. There were countless hours where I cross referenced many of the sites out there to find every tip and trick I could about ball pythons from the basic history to breeding to raising. Buy books, don't be shy in spending money on a good piece of literature because you will reference it a lot. After that, you just have to decide what you want to do, decide on a goal/project and invest in the morphs that will take you there. I started off without a goal and found myself not sure of which morphs I should keep for the time being due to the rising cost of food and electricity. This is not a run of the mill hobby and you will have to invest alot of time energy, space... it's like a step below having kids, you just don't have to worry about college tuition. (just a tip, raising your own snake food comes in handy.)
Good advice.
I'd like to add a quote i read years ago.."You don't go into business, you grow into business"..It won't happen overnight,so loving what you do is a big part of it(Because you will have to do it for quite a while before it pays.)
Good luck.
