Bauk011 Sep 30, 2008 03:00 PM

Hi, I have a problem with my cali, he is 3 old, and for that period he eat only twice, but even then he was force feeded. The gay who sold it to me, told that it hapends some time, and that I sould start burm. and that he will probably start eating at spring.
Whould this be any good for him, will he survive that long, and do anybody have any idea what can I do.

Sorry, my mistake, 3 month old ...So I don't need to worry. He is looking preety good, and fat, if you could say that for a snake. Should I try to start burm. for about a month, and then lift temp higher?

lets call it Brumation !equal to hibernation....Burm is a python snake...
i am in Fl and brumation occur when it occurs days are shorter and the temps slow down metabolism to a deep sleep .
fluctuating temps here require water at all times during this period ...(of months)........wish me a happy birthday today ..f i knew i was gonna live this long i mighta taken better care of my self/wife etc.........
