How do you feed your growing milks?

ExcessiveHerps Sep 30, 2008 08:32 PM

I'm interested to here how folks like to feed their prior to breeding size milks. Interested to see if many feed larger food items or maybe more than 1 smaller item typically as well as how frequently.

Thanks

Xavier

when my milk was a baby, I fed her one pinky every week, she seemed to do just fine with it, never turned down food, and shes big and healthy now, (eating fuzzies). but i'm not an expert. Shes my first snake.

I feed my baby king and milk snakes a pinky mouse every 4 days. If I don't have time for feeding this often, I offer 2 mice once a week. I also feed them two mice at a time after a shed cycle. In my experience, most puelan milk snakes will take up to three mice once a week.
