seasonal eaters?

fire_flyny Oct 01, 2008 09:07 AM

how do you all get picky eaters to breeding size. One of my females goes back and forth between live and frozen. She's eating frozen thawed small rats like crazy but I'm pretty sure she was the same way last year I think she might be more of a seasonal eater. Half of the year when I feed her live she kills but doesn't eat. Right now she takes the frozen thawed out of my hand any suggestions on how to keep her on track so to speak

I think some snakes are just picky despite all efforts. I have an adult female that I've had for 7 years and has never fed consistantly. I've tried mice, rats, gerbils, live, pre-killed, f/t, and every trick in the book.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but I figured I'd at least reply.
