My dream, would be to produce Peruvians like this.

This is " Black Onyx 2. "

She is not the slate pure black of her sister, but this is quite possibly the most inky Black and silver Peruvian that I have ever seen.

Nota lick of yellow, but does have a huge red tail.

She, is the most beautiful boa in the World " to me. "

She was brought in on an Iquitos shipment nearly 14 yrs ago.

Was in the hands of my ole buddy Stan Chiras for a while in Florida and just by luck, I tracked her down in Maine years later.

I do not like buying adult Boas much, but girls like her and Onyx 1, are not a dime a dozen.

This girl, is probably my favorite Boa of all time.

Yes you are fortunate to have that girl, I have never seen pic's of those black ones out of there cages, will they light you up? It would be nice to see them in natural light and stretched out so we could appreciate some more realistic colors and contrast.

Well, they were in breeding for spring and summer or I would have gotten some outside shots.

Now, they are just 9ft and cranky shielas.

I will try to force myself to tangle with them for an outside picture maybe.........JJ

This is the Boa that changed my view of every Peruvian or Basin Type Red Tail, needing to be super gold and clean.

I brought this girl out of Ecuador in the mid 90s.

Her name was " Silver Baby. "

She was the most beautiful and contrasting Boa that I had ever seen and hard times, moved her to live with my dear friend " Mark Damico. "

Mark also loved this girl possibly above all and she eventually passed away of old age a few years later.

Black Onyx 2, is the closest that I have ever come to finding one like " Silver Baby " and I have debated in my mind that Onyx 2 is likely from the same Locale.

Mark, would be the first to testify; " You have to see one like this in person, to understand just how incredible they are. "

Mark does not know it yet, but if hard times ever hit me again, I would send this girl to him for nothing, as he would truly appreciate her above most, besides me.

Thanks, Greg.......JJ ...This picture was taken with a Polaroid disposable years ago.
