Boa identification

Boneiface Oct 01, 2008 09:55 PM

I just got a very mild mannered 7 ft. Red-Tail Boa. I was told he's about 7 years old. He is silver/gray and has 25 dark brown saddles. The last 7 saddles are a rich brown. The last one is almost black. He has tan/yellow eyes with black pupils. His underbelly is creme colored with dark brown spotting. I think he may be of Peruvian origin. Any thoughts?
I tried to get a picture of him to show this, but it really doesn't show his true colors.

I believe that 25 saddles make it very unlikely that it's Peruvian or any other BCC. Most likely a BCI.

Can you post up the picture that you have. They never show them off 100% but it will show the majority of his pattern and colors.

Sorry it took me a while to get a good picture. BCC or BCI?
Thanks for your input.

That is a Colombian X Central American mix, in my opinion.

Sounds like a Colombian or Central American mix.
