Not a bad apple in the bunch, peru pics

nickstone Oct 03, 2008 05:01 PM

Yesterday I went up to a bunch of the local produce farms with my family for my sisters birthday. I didn't even notice the name on the box until I was getting ready to wash these apples a little while ago. I thought it would be a great idea for a couple pics with some of my younger Peruvian BCC. They are all usually pretty mellow but it started to rain a little towards the last couple pics and the all looked like they were trying to make a break back to the jungle. I wish every time I went to get a box of apples it looked like these. Now I'm off to wash up some apples and bake a pie. Take Care, Nick

Thanks Greg, the one in the 4th pic one the right is one of my favorites too. He was produced by Mark Hauge in 2006. A few of those other boas in those pics are his siblings. The female that produced them was an import Mark got from CFRB. Here's a couple pics of her taken by Mark.

That year Mark had 2 males in with her so it can't be said which one is positively the father. One male I have traced back to Bill Park but haven't been able to get in touch with him to find out if he produced it or any other background info on it. Here are a couple pics of the male from Bill Parks from Mark.

Here are a couple pics of another male that was in with the female that year. This male has been traced back to Jeff Quiggle who might have possibly gotten him from Gary Sipperly. But I haven't been able to get in touch with either Jeff Quiggle or Gary Sipperly.

Also if Jeff Quiggle, Gary Sipperly or Bill Parks see this please contact me, or if anybody else sees this and has contact info for them please let me know. Thanks, Nick Stone

Thanks everybody for all the compliments. John, whether or not I always agree with what you have to say, I do respect you, you're opinions and the animals that you are so passionate about. It's also a hugh compliment that somebody like you who has been around longer than me and has such a hugh variety of amazing animals would choose a pic of mine for a screensaver. I also appreciate (usually ) everything that you are doing to give these amazing animals the exposure I think that they so badly deserve. It always brings a hugh smile to my face everytime I click on the forums and see the majority of posts are amazing BCC that you, Joel, Greg, Amer, Afoll, Mike Eckert, Rich C, Ash Lopez, Kevin, and Gus post. Sorry but I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple folks. But, thanks everybody who keeps and breeds BCC with a passion. If any of you are ever up in the hills on the way to Lake Tahoe in Nor Cal, let me know and stop by for a piece of pie and bs for a while. Thanks again, Nick
