as a professed lurker I'm a little disapointed in you. You should know pics are darn near a pre-requisite!!

We'll let you slide for now but will be expecting some pics before too long!!

BTW, good luck on your upcoming litter!!

welll i do have pics but im not sure as to how i get them on here

rainbowsrus Oct 04, 2008 01:24 AM

Do you have them on a pic hosting site?

If so, then ....

[ img]your pics web address here[/img]

but without that pesky space in the first brackets

I use photobucket.com and they have a spot you click that loads the address with img tgs, all you have to do then is paste...

Another option is there is the option to upload images to the photogallery here. Then you can add up to three pics to a post under the text area

So is skydiving a rush as I would imagine it to be ?

I have jumped a few times into water from a high elevation and found it quite invigorating. Skydiving therefore must be a "high"!!!!

Oh my it is quite the blast! for my birthday last year (oct 7) my friend took me skydiving.
it wasnt scary jumping out because we were so high up at 13000 feet but we were at the ground in a minute think they said we were going 120 mph.
id reccommend it to anyone though it was so much fun, but its an expensive hobby

Brian,
Welcome to the forum. Skydiving is big time addictive. I was heavily into it in the early 90's and did over 250 dives. I never did a tandim having learned the static line route. I've got some great photos but they are all 35mm film. I'll have to scan some and share. Too many of my friends bounced over the years and I finally hung up my 'chute. On days like today with the big fluffy clouds and bright blue sky with a nice breeze for soft landings, make me wish I was at the DZ.
Thanks for sharing,
Paul

Thanks its sooo fun but i cant afford to go that often the 100-150 a jump kills the funds
if i had my own plane and chute and a pilot oh boy would i be out every day!

As others have said, welcome to the forum!

I'd really like to try skydiving at some point - it's one of those things I've never really felt like I could spare the money for, and I've also yet to convince my girlfriend that it'd be fun to jump out of a plane (she used to fly them, and for some odd reason thinks it's more fun to stay inside). Regarding what you said about doing it daily if you could, don't you think it would eventually lose some of it's specialness if you did that? I'd just think some of the rush would be gone if it became routine.

Forgot to ask, do you track sheds? And if so, did she have one mid June-ish?

i dont exactly remember her first shed of pregnancy, but the second one (last one ive seen) was about a month and 2 or 3 weeks ago so early-mid july why do you ask?

Because that July shed will be the point you could count from. For example at my 82 degree temp, Minnie's June 12th shed puts her due date as tomorrow.

A early - Mid July POS would put the due date a few weeks out!!!

BTW, A month and a few weeks ago would be early - mid August???

shoot im all mixed up the month and a half ago was the first set of waxy stool things, and than 2 weeks ago id say was the second set of waxy stool things... the last shed was probably a month before the first waxy stool i believe im not 100% positive.... how do you calculate the date?

One peice of advice - individual record cards!! Record important info, I track feedings and sheds for all my animals. Also add in any other info like weights or babies born info.

Due dates are tough on BRB's. Seems it may be very temperature dependant. This year with 82 degree gestation temps I'm averaging around 117 day after POS (Post Ovulation Shed) Sometimes there will be an interim shed (or even two) but typically not. Last year I gestated 2 or 3 degrees cooler and ran closer to 130 days.

ill be sure to start doing that, too bad i didnt prior :/
i typically have the cage around 80-84 degrees which basically changes when i turn the light on or off
and she will sometimes lay away from the light, or other times she'll bask under it for hours
