My new Epicrates Striatus *PICS*

RyanT Oct 04, 2008 02:07 AM

I just got this proven pair this week. I fell in love with Haitians when I was 9 years old when one tried to take my face off in my friend's pet store. Now 18 years later, I have some of my own. I've had a few Cubans, but never Striatus Striatus (sometimes known as Haitian Tree Boas). They have a horrible musking notoriety, and they're very nervous, so it's best to handle them with a hook. But still fascinating. A very under appreciated Epicrates species.

That's an incredible pair of Haitians!!
The one in the first two pictures is the best looking one I have ever seen.

Ryan,
The 2.2 are an odd assortment of sizes and colors; nothing on a par with yours. They are, however, all different so it is some consolation to me.
I'll post some photos when they have settled in and fed once or twice.

Best regards,
Jeff

Can't wait to see them Jeff. Sorry to hear you're not impressed with them. Afterall, I wouldn't have even known a thing about mine if you hadn't passed them over to me.
