What are the different lines of ghosts out there? Are there some that are better quality than others? I have heard of compatibility issues with certain lines, which are not compatible? Any pics would be appreciated...Thanks, Manny

I was under the impression that all of the current Hypo lines were compatible. The various Axanthic lines, however, are incompatible.
There are many "lines" out there and everyone is going to have their favorite. Some people even state that there really isn't a difference between the lines only between individual animals.
Your best bet is to look at the sire and dam of any animal you are looking to purchase (if it is a het.) to get a better idea of what you can expect.
If I were in the market for Hypos right now, I'd purchase a visual Hypo, not a het. and I'd be pretty selective about the individual animal not the line it came from.
....the D&M line of Axanthics IS compatible with the SK line.
It seems worth mentioning.

...of Ghost.
Butterscotch
Green
Yellow
Orange
Various lines of each of those 'variants'...
Silver Ghost (seen a couple lines)
And, the nuuumerous hatchling/sub-adult/adult Ghosts that are captive hatched or imported every year.
As for compatibility, I dunno.
I've come to realize I can only remember so much about Ball morphs and combos.
I figure if I brush up on Ghost compatibility I'll wind up forgetting the difference between the various lines of Pastel. lol

Most of the orange ghost lines are compatible. I hatched some nice Ralph Davis "Anery" line orange ghosts this year, so I'm partial to this line at the moment.

Graziani has a G1 line that isn't compatible -- maybe the blue as well -- I forget I can only retain so much and think I replaced ghost line compatibility with the super cinny pied info. LOL

I have crossed so many lines together. I was looking for the same answer You were a few years ago. I crossed bells line with other lines like Greenish colored ones from the wild to Nerds Orange lines back to Sharps Butterscotch lines. They all seemed to cross well heres one I really like from this season.

and some from past years

Hope that helps You out.
