"Vegas" A elegant white male by Josh

Kclark Oct 04, 2008 09:42 PM

I took some pictures tonight of my young white dragon "Vegas"

Vegas was bred by Josh at Phantom dragons and is of the highest quality.

Vegas has a big apatite and runs his enclosure like a grown dragon.
Thanks again Josh for such a great dragon!

Scott Clark

How do you guys get all these morphs from breeding? Are they highly inbred like the leopard geckos? I don't mean to sound rude asking this question, but I'm curious as to how you guys get all these dragons with different colors.

Glad you like him Scott. He should be very white as an adult and hopefully he's a het transluscent.

My white hypos are origionally from two pastels that I purchased from Bob about 11 years ago. I bred them to normals to pull the color out of them. I then had to grow up multiple dragons generation after generation, to select the lightest and least amount of color. Over the last few years, I aquired some white beardeds from the leucistic line, and added them to my stock. Thanks, Josh

Hi, Thank you for not meaning to sound rude. the answer to your question is no.

Breeding good animals takes hard work, dedication, a keen eye and superior genetics among hordes of other things. (short cuts don't work)

White dragons are not new, I think Vegas is awesome and wanted to share!

Good Luck Scott Clark
