How big are they at hatching? What's the habitat like at that locality?

Howdy Cole, the hatchlings are pretty robust considering the parents are in the 36-40 inch range (@4 years) -these average a very thick 8-9 inches. The conanti by comparison are far more slender and average 7-8 inches also from the same sized adults.
I've no idea what Salinas Cruz is like but recently learned that the area was the fav vacation spot of none other than Howard Huges himself! Basic husbandry has been identical to sinaloans and hondos: keep them at 80 or so and cool them for 2 months at 60-70. Feed well....
Very easy snakes to work with.
