One of my males locked up with a virgin female and there is a few blood spots on the papertowel in the tub is this common? Or after they unlock should I seperate them for a while? She is 1600grams and he is about 500grams. This is the second female he has been with this season.
I'm haveing difficultys finding a hovabator/incubator here in Alabama. I remember there was a website that had them shipped for relatively cheap and I can't remember the site?? Also, haveiing trouble locating rodents here I am located near Montgomery.. Any insight is appreciated.. Goodluck to all this upcoming season!!

A little blood spotting after a mating is not that uncommon, and nothing to worry about. It happened to us a couple of times last season (out of over 100 hookups from 32 successful pairings)......
