Hey Dave,

I posted my new rack a few months ago on here but, I figure what the heck I like to show it off when I can.

I built this rack to house my 1.3 group of BRBs. I made the rack from 3/4'' melamine, and use the IRIS VE175 tubs. I really like the tubs large size which gives the snakes more than enough room and am happy with the steady heat and humidity levels I am able to create with this rack.

I heat the rack with heat tape and control it's temperature with a Herpstat Pro.

ah yeah i remember you set up, a bloody good DIY job. How long are those tubs, they look like the kind of length i want, but i cant find anything like that here, we just dont have the shops here. I had a freedom breeder rack on order, but in the last week the euro has plummetted like 13cents against the dollar, and i just dont think its worth it, a have a few expensive commitments to snakes in the US at the moment, that just got way more expensive. So will be making other rack plans i guess. If the US goes and has a good old recession now though, i will be buying up

The tubs are right at 54 inches long or about 4.5 feet, sorry not totally sure on metric. Thanks for the coomplements. Oh kinda ot but you live in Europe is that correct? I will be over there for a semester in London starting January, maybe you could give me some ideas on some neat zoos/expos that are happening.

Oh yeah and lets not talk about the R word. ha

Ike,
..The London Zoo is supposed to have a pretty good reptile collectio. I think they have Komodo Monitors.

Thanks, These are the culmination of generations of selective breeding. And I didn't hold back much this year, except for Fluffy offspring and a female or two..

Hey Dave, here are some of my set-ups.

This first pic is for the baby BRBs.

These next two are pictures of some adult BRB bins. It's hard to see in the pictures, but there are two sweaterbox sized tubs in each bin. One for water and another for damp moss. The smaller adults that live in these get smaller water & Moss tubs than full grown adults. They seem to like to cram themselves in there, rather than the sweaterbox tubs for water & moss.

This last picture is how I set up my Boaphiles. I only have two right now, but I want to switch most of the adult BRBs to the Boaphiles eventually. They are expensive, but they work well.
