wfreptiles Oct 05, 2008 01:09 PM

First to hatch from my Mojave Pied Project...Mojave ph Pied male x Het pied female. Everyone has pipped but this is the only little guy out cruizing around.
Clutch total is:3 Pieds like the one pictured, 3 Normal PH Pieds, 2 Mojave ph Pieds.

I don't recall seeing a normal Piebald with a head like that....hmmm

Congrats on the clutch and your Mojave male proving het Pied.

Very nice..so the mojave gene does not react as the lesser gene.intresting!

wfreptiles Oct 05, 2008 01:58 PM

yeah, I think the all white snakes are stunning, but I was ecstatic to see the pattern on these guys. We have soooo.. many combos producing all white snakes this is a nice change.
The question is what will a Mojave Pied x Mojave Pied Produce, another all white snake???

I guess time will tell.

Congratulations and thanks so much for posting those results! They are very nice looking.

I must be the only one who wants an all pied white snake so looks like I'm going to have to get a lesser eventually. Have there been any more lesser pied produced yet to be sure they will all be all white? I was going to try my mojave to one of my possible het pied girls this year but nice as these are since my goal is different now I know in time to save my pied shot girls for other projects (pied or pied albino sooner) until I can get a lesser.

Thanks. As far as I know Ralph is the one who could give you the inside info on the lesser Pied project.

They are greyish silver, really pale grey kind washed out around the mouth.
